		<description>:-) it was a present, but at least it&#039;s a relatively scholarly edition with decent notes!! And I was glad of the dialect translations, especially the Milanese poetry. Can just about get the gist of Ferrarese, but the other leaves me quite cold.</description>

Did you ever seen the film version of The Garden of the Finzi-Continis? It&#039;s from the early &#039;70s--beautifully done and filmed, of course, in Ferrara.</description>
